Shanna's bio

Shanna McCollum Thomas served as the clinic director for The Joint Chiropractic in Marietta, Georgia. She is a graduate of South Carolina State University and Life University. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree.

She has been practicing chiropractic for almost 17 years. Her career started in Bronx, NY as an associate chiropractor in personal injury clinics. Four years later, she relocated back to Atlanta, Georgia and continued practicing in personal injury clinics, wellness clinics--later starting her own mobile chiropractic. Shanna is very passionate and connects with her patients in a way that is unforgettable and irreplaceable.

She was born and raised in Brunswick, GA. Shanna married her high school sweetheart, Kelvin, and out of that union are four beautiful children, three daughters and one son. Although she has had several years of experience with educating and nurturing her patients and her children, nothing but God could prepare her for her current role as full-time caregiver of her daughter, Kendall.

She is the author of What Happened To Tuesday. Shanna is a member of Turner Chapel AME Church in Marietta, GA. She is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. The Thomases currently reside in Acworth, Georgia.
